Crazy for You/Tell Me Lies by Jennifer Crusie
I just loved his attachment to Maddie, how he had always felt this strong sense of love for her. Who’s committing the crimes?
Otherwise, the book was fun and rather entertaining, but it pales in comparison to the lles Crusie titles. It is fun and a great escape. I cannot say it enough, I love Jennifer Crusie. I agree with other posters here who say this just doesn’t live up to her charming characters and witty banter she can write. Not one of Crusie’s best works, but still worth a read if Bet Me or her other, better books, are unavailable.

Jenny lives on the Ohio River where she often stares at the ceiling and counts her blessings. I’d give it higher if it wasn’t Jennifer Crusie–I expect more from her. I picked up a few more of her books at the local bookstore and I’m sure I will be reading iles of her I cannot say it enough, I love Jennifer Crusie. I read this one for jennufer Yahoo Bookcrossing Reading Group. In many ways I see how that kind of small town mentality could be so stifling for growth.

CL was barely a character, he was nothing. Her habit is telling lies to her daughter. Everyone knows everything about everyone else.
This one wasn’t one of my favorites of JC’s. But then as she started to break free, I began to like her more and more. It’s been a long time since I sat up until Midnight to f I would have proudly proclaimed that I’d never read a romance novel before in my life – and never imagined I ever would!
The murder mystery has so many suspects it leaves the reader as well as Maddie dizzy. It’s worth a good laugh This book started out ok but the main character was annoying. Happily, her daughter calls her on it. The reader will be kept guessing.
